My Small Wonders strives to provide a safe and fun environment for School Age children.

Our before and after school program is designed to provide children time to play outdoors, interact with friends, explore creative arts, play games, work puzzles, and construct with various manipulatives and blocks.

An important quality of our School Age program is the extended atmosphere that exists for children as they come to My Small Wonders before and after school. Each child receives individual attention in the relaxed but active environment, with attention given to social needs as well as developmental needs. We believe that children need to relax after their busy day at school, complete assigned school projects with teacher assistance and pursue other activities of interest.

Our school age program includes a healthy breakfast before school, lunch for 1/2 day kindergarteners, and an afternoon snack. Full day school age care is included with your enrollment for teacher inservice days, spring break, winter break, and some holidays (we are closed for fall break and most major holidays).

We realize that school age children spend most of their day at school sitting behind a desk. At My Small Wonders the children are free to make choices throughout the classroom of activities they want to participate in. We also provide quality outdoor play areas.

We offer choices on the activities school age children want to participate in. We offer a variety of different learning areas for school ager’s to explore such as:

My Small Wonders schedules field trips for children 5 years and older during school breaks. We plan a variety of educational & just plain fun field trips!
